The 2nd Annual STEM Gala will be held April 6, 2019 at The Barn at Oakboro.

On Saturday, February 2, 2019, Jacie Bennett, Zoe Smith and Brianna Douglas, and Anya Bullock and Ella Shelton traveled to UNC-Charlotte to compete in the Region 6 Science Fair with students from across the area including Mecklenburg, Cleveland, Lincoln, Gaston, Rowan, Cabarrus, Union, Anson, and Iredell counties.

Oakboro STEM Kindergarten Night has been set for Thursday, 2/21 for rising kinderscholars. We will take completed enrollment forms and have a notary on site for processing. In addition, we plan to have our nurse/cafeteria and teachers on hand to share what to expect this coming year.

All the money raised will be purchase books for the school library!

Students and families can shop all week, February 11-15!

On February 4th, Riley Armstrong won the OCSS Spelling Bee with Christian Goodall as runner-up. Riley will represent us on February 12th at the district bee.
