Kindergarten
I am glad to be your child's teacher. I appreciate you allowing me to take your child for 180 days and giving me the opportunity to teach him or her all that I can. It is my belief that every child can learn. All I ever ask of the child is to try his or her best. Together we will make a great team.
I am one of the three kindergarten teachers here at at Oakboro Choice STEM School. I have my Bachelors of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Pfeiffer University. I have 28 years of experience in teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and even was the media specialist for a year. All these years I have taught at Oakboro, except for one year. I love teaching here at Oakboro Choice STEM.
When I am not here at school I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a son, Carson, a daughter, Halee, a daughter in law, Mackenzie, a soon to be son in law, Alex, and a grandson, Huxtyn. My husband and I have been married for 28 years. I have 7 dogs, 3 cats and 2 fish.
